Research Innovation Design Internship

This is what you’ll do

• As part of the Research & Innovation team, you will play a crucial role in driving the development of new sleep technologies & products to push the boundaries of what is possible for superior sleep
• You will be working on one dedicated innovation project – an ergonomic, textile-based tech-product for sleepers and/ or a portable high-tech lamp
• De ne both the hardware product’s design and its user experience
• Coordinate prototyping of your design ideas with external partners worldwide
• Develop personas, customer journeys and user stories
• Apply a customer centric design approach in your projects including coordinating customer feedback loops and synthesizing the feedback early on

This is what you’ll bring to us

• You have profound knowledge of Adobe CC, Keyshot and Rhinoceros or Solidworks
• You have experience working with fabrics – sampling, cutting patterns and sewing
• You are con dent in synthesizing technology into viable, market-fit products
• A good eye, capable of creating both low-fi mock-ups and high-gloss designs
• Basic knowledge in Prototyping technical prototypes, using Arduino or similar
• You can tackle design problems autonomously, from beginning to end, from problem definition through iterations to the final design
• You are curious, question the status quo and aren’t afraid to voice your concerns
• Proficiency in English and German in spoken and written format
• You have a portfolio that showcases these abilities (PDF or website)
