Workshop: »Texture Translations« mit Derk Roelofsen
In this workshop, participants create textures on paper and explore what their eyes and mind see in these marks. We then compare this to how the algorithm sees the same textures when they are scanned and translated into three-deminsional models. The workshop focuses on what happens during these translations - how the texture changes as it moves from mind to machine and back again.
Participants end by printing the digital versions, bringing all translations back onto paper.
