    Timo Lenzen’s winning poster

For the third time in a row, HfG student Timo Lenzen has won the “100 Best Posters” competition, this time with no less than two works. Every year the competition honors outstanding poster design in German-speaking countries. Having conducted an online pre-selection from more than 2,000 posters, the five-member jury presented 814, of which it chose the 100 best. 49 prizes went to Germany, 49 to Switzerland, and two to Austria. A total of 632 people submitted entries, 183 of them students. The 2016 competition poster was designed by HfG student Yuan Wang under the supervision of Sascha Lobe, Professor of Typograph at HfG.

The opening exhibition presenting all the posters and premiering the year book will open on June 15, 2017 at Kulturforum on Potsdamer Platz in Berlin and will subsequently go on display in Essen, Nuremberg, La Chaux-de-Fonds, Lucerne, Vienna, and Zurich.
