Cooperation with Sichuan Fine Arts Institute & Porsche China

Prof bernd kracke congratulated the artists group of scfai for the fruitful exchange result at hfg offenbach

The collaboration between Porsche China and Sichuan Fine Arts Institute (SCFAI) dates back to the commencement of Porsche »Empowering the Future« Art Contest in 2010. According to the arrangement of the 7th Porsche »Empowering the Future« Sichuan Fine Arts Institute scholarship program, including the final assessment produced 2–3 weeks artistic creation and academic exchange program with strategic partner HfG Offenbach in Germany. Porsche China gave the funding for the whole academic exchange program.

On 17th of July, president Prof. Bernd Kracke, vice president Prof. Dr. Marc Ries, Dagmar Loris from international office and project director Zheng Xuan had the welcome meeting for the guests from SCFAI. The group members include the 7th Porsche »Empowering the Future« first Prize winner Mr. Ge Pingwei (Now teaching at Department of Sculpture SCFAI), second Prize winners Mr. Wang Peiyong (Now teaching at Department of Painting SCFAI) and Mr. Fan Lei (Now teaching at Department of Painting SUSE), third Prize winners Ms. PU Keyu (Under graduated student SCFAI), Ms.YU Zhe (Alumna SCFAI) and Mr.HUANG Junwei (Now teaching at Department of Painting SCFAI), Prof.ZENG Yue (Director of International Office SCFAI), Mr. Sun Chuili (Director of Collection Management of the Art Museum SCFAI), Mr. Yansha Zi’an (Jury of the 7th Porsche »Empowering the Future«, now teaching at Shanghai Jiaotong University SJTU).

The artists group from SCFAI had artistic creation and exchange at studios of Prof. Gunter Reski and Prof. Susanne Winterling at HfG Offenbach. During their stay, two professors had organized the projects presentation of their classes for the guests. Moritz Urban, Aron Klamp and Linda Weiß from HfG Offenbach gave fully support for the program and helped ZHENG Xuan took care the artists from SCFAI. Volker Steinbacher had shared a one day workshop for the artists group. Dr. Norman Hildebrandt came to the studio of Prof. Gunter Reski and had artistic creation and exchange with the guests. The artists from SCFAI had worked together with Dr. Norman Hildebrandt, Aron Klamp, Linda Weiß and Zheng Xuan from HfG Offenbach for a group painting work during the workshop at studio of Prof. Gunter Reski. At the final program summary meeting, all the artists from SCFAI gave this painting work to Prof. Bernd Kracke as a special memory gift. This work not only saved the wonderful moments they had shared at HfG Offenbach with the professors, teachers and students, but also showed the fruitful success and friendship between SCFAI and HfG Offenbach!
