Materialdesign: Designresearch Symposium

Materialdesign, as an emerging field today, expands the understanding of design, generating new results, outcomes and approaches. How does Materialdesign cross traditional disciplinary lines and generate new knowledge? What skills and capabilities are required and developed? What potential does it hold for the future?

By discussing current research in the field of materialdesign, the MATERIALDESIGN symposium will explore the evolving boundaries, capabilities, and perspectives that these research and practices bring to design.

A Shuttle will be provided from the HfG Offenbach-Campus to the venue in the morning, and from Frankfurt Höchst back to Offenbach, just in time to participate the Rundgang-Opening.
