Vita

Prof. Manfred Stumpf (born 1957 in Alsfeld) studied at Städelschule Frankfurt under Thomas Bayrle from 1976, at the Cooper Union, New York under Hans Haake from 1978 and at the University of Applied Arts Vienna under Bazon Brock from 1979. He was awarded a scholarship for young fine artists by the City of Alsfeld, as well as fellowships for the Villa Massimo in Rome and for »Artists in Residence« in Tokyo.

He has been teaching at HfG Offenbach as Professor for Conceptual Drawing and Life Drawing since 1995. Alongside his drawing classes he also conducts inter-disciplinary projects with students from the Product Design and Visual Communications faculties.
